Jack Hazelwood P.Ag., CEC, Founding Principal
Jack Hazelwood is a founding principal of Chinook Coaching & Consulting and a practitioner/trainer in the areas of extension, coaching, mediation and and change management., He is a member of a number of professional organizations in support of his education, experience and expertise. Jack is committed to being a catalyst for people and organizations who want to be more than they are today – in helping good become great and great become outstanding.

Prior to the founding of Chinook Coaching and Consulting Jack spent over 25 years in agricultural extension and progressively more senior management positions with a people development focus and passion. From 1990 to 1994 he managed, for Alberta, a major federal/provincial agreement and from 1994 to 2002 he was instrumental in developing and leading a new team of more than 40 extension workers in Southern Alberta. He was concurrently involved in international extension development work through a number of projects in China and Ukraine.

Jack has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, a Masters in Extension and Adult Education, a Certificate in Transition Management, a University of Alberta Senior Executive Development Program Certificate, a Royal Roads University Masters level Certificate in Executive Coaching and extensive training in conflict resolution from the Alberta Arbitration & Mediation Society (AAMS).

He is a member of the Alberta Institute of Agrologists, the International Coach Federation, AAMS, and a past national director and national award recipient of the Canadian Society of Extension.   

Jack is prepared to bring his broad based experience, education and passion to support you and your organization in becoming more than you are today.
